Silk: Face Unveiled

The name of your silk is Face Unveiled. The colors in it are:

  • Pale pink representing heart of flesh
  • Gray representing dove’s eyes
  • Ruby representing being of immeasurable worth
  • Dark red representing power in the Blood
  • Blackberry representing wealth and prosperity

The scriptures that go with it are:

  • 2 Corinthians 3:18 (VOICE) Now all of us, with our faces unveiled, reflect the glory of the Lord as if we are mirrors; and so we are being transformed, metamorphosed, into His same image from one radiance of glory to another, just as the Spirit of the Lord accomplishes it.
  • 2 Corinthians 4:6 (VOICE) The God who spoke light into existence, saying, “Let light shine from the darkness,” is the very One who sets our hearts ablaze to shed light on the knowledge of God’s glory revealed in the face of Jesus, the Anointed One.

Merriam-Webster defines metamorphosed as “to change in an important and obvious way into something that is very different : to undergo metamorphosis, to change into a different physical form especially by supernatural means, to change strikingly the appearance or character of : transform.” And transformed is defined, “to change (something) completely and usually in a good way, to change the outward form or appearance of, to change in character or condition.”

As we sit with Him and we wait on Him, we are metamorphosed – transformed. As His children, we’ve been given His DNA, we are like Him. The more time we spend with Him, the more like Him we become. In His presence we are literally changed. Spiritually and physically. We reflect His glory. Wearing it on our faces. It changes our appearance. We transform. People can see Him on us – whether they know Him or not, they see “something” – they see Him in our countenance and they respond to it.

We have to learn not to be offended or put off when people respond strangely or are offended or put out by us, after all it may be HIM they’re responding to; and what an honor to be rejected for His sake. So don’t be like Moses (Exodus 34:35) – covering your face to keep others from feeling uncomfortable or seeing God’s mark on you – be His vessel to reflect His glory with joy and contentment.

A portion of a word called “The Potter’s Wheel” from Elaine Tavolacci of A Word in Season is connected to this silk.

The Holy Spirit showed me a lump of clay on a potter’s wheel. The potter began to spin the wheel as he molded and shaped the piece of clay as he formed it. When making pottery on a potter’s wheel, the clay has to first be centered, then water is applied before the potter begins his creation. The potter then shapes the clay into the image that he desires. There are different wheels used to create different vessels. The Lord has designed each one of us in a distinct way with a specific calling. There are no two people created for the same purpose and plan.

Do not refuse the work on the potters wheel but allow Me to transform you as I shape your life and destiny. Trust Me when the process seems too difficult. Don’t say that this is an uncomfortable place, but know that it is for your benefit and necessary to bring you in to the fulfillment of My plans. Do not resist the work that I am doing on the inside of you, but allow Me to accomplish My perfect will through you. Allow Me to work with you and fashion you into My image. I Am the master potter and as you allow Me, I will design your life so that you will become all that I have created you to be. You will become a glorious vessel of honor, and others will see the brilliance of the transformed life that I am creating in you. I desire to make something beautiful out of your life as you allow Me to work in and through you says the Lord.

The veil was rent (Matthew 27:51)! We see Him clearly as He molds and shapes us. And like glow-in-the-dark stars, as we soak in His presence, we absorb His essence – His light – and we keep it with us as we enter the darkness of the world, reflecting it back – showing in small part who He is. We escort His presence here on earth. Helping heaven invade earth as we reflect the beauty of His glory.

A “whisper” called “Your Life is in My Hands” from the Passion Translation team’s “I Hear His Whisper” is connected to this silk.

Your days have been ordered and set in place by Love. Even if you were to pass through life’s darkest shadows, fear will be far from you, for I am near. You see ups and downs, I see you ascending the Hill of My holiness. It is true that I have placed you at My hand in the heavenly realms, but your understanding of My ways has not yet excelled. Come up higher through the open door, which is My open heart for you. I will teach you My ways and begin to implant My thoughts deeper into you. Many are convinced that they know Me, but they know so little of My Mysteries. Come and sit with Me in the heavenly realm and I will disclose My heart to you and teach you out of Zion’s glory.

Make yourself available to Me and I will dispense My Spirit through you into others. You no longer can say, ‘Some day God will use me,’ when that day has already come. I will use you this day as you make yourself available to Me and let Me fill you with My Spirit.

I will give you Wisdom. Others will give you opinions and truths, I will give you Wisdom. No longer will you live like you are unwise and untaught, for Wisdom has come to live in you as you feed upon My Word. My Wisdom will open doors for you into the glory of each day. Wisdom builds for future plans, but wisdom is seen by those who cherish each day as My gift. Many are robbed of Today because they have their hearts set on Someday. My Wisdom will give you Light to live this day in Truth and Victory. The restoration of Wisdom has begun, and I call you to carry My Wisdom, Jesus Christ, and reveal Him to the nations.

I will cause you to reap. Fruit comes from Me and the work of My Spirit and not the labors of men. Does the lily toil to be beautiful? Does the vine labor to bring forth grapes? Does the bird lack sky in which to fly? Does the fish lack water in which to swim? The fruit I will bring in your life will not come merely through your efforts, but as you yield to My Spirit’s fullness. For the harvest of My Spirit is love unending and contentment uncontainable.

Your life is My hands and you are not alone, for I have cast out loneliness from your heart and filled you with the Hope of Glory. Your days will bring you closer to My ways and even your tears will become the seeds I plant to make My garden within you even more fruitful. Take one day and fill it with My presence and watch what I will do for you, for I am your Father, the Father of endless mercy.

Two more scriptures that go with this silk are:

  • Galatians 5:22-23 (TPT) But the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is divine love in all its various expressions. This love is revealed through: Joy that overflows, Peace that subdues, Patience that endures, Kindness in action, A life full of virtue, Faith that prevails, Gentleness of heart, and Strength of spirit. Never set the law above these qualities, for they are meant to be limitless.
  • 1 John 3:2 (AMP) Beloved, we are even here and now children of God, and it is not yet made clear what we will be after His coming. We know that when He comes and is revealed, we will as His children be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is in all His glory.

The lyrics from Bethel Church’s spontaneous song “We Will Wait” are also connected to this silk.

We will wait. Yes, we will wait. We will stay here, we will stay
And we will praise You, we will praise
Cause You’re worth it. Yes, You’re worth it. You’re worth it all.

We will wait. Yes, we will wait. We will stay here, we will stay
And we will praise You, we will praise. Cause You’re worth it. You deserve it.

You deserve it. You deserve the highest praises.
From the deepest places. From the deepest place we will praise you.
We’re not afraid to stay here. Cause You’re worthy! You’re worthy, Lord.

We join heaven’s song. We cry, “Holy! Holy! Holy!”
We cry, “Holy! Holy! Holy is the Lord God Almighty!”
We cry, “Holy! Holy! Holy, Lord!” You are Holy! Holy! Holy, Lord!

Worthy! Worthy! Worthy, Lord! You are worthy! Worthy! Worthy, Lord!
I can’t hold back, I can’t hold back my praise!

There’s a place of His presence you’ve never been before.
A place of His presence you’ve never seen before.

You’re all I want. You’re all I need. You’re everything to me.

We give You all because You’re worthy and You deserve it! We love You. We love Your presence. Make us more like You, Abba! Let us shine, let us reflect Your glory. Let us make Your character and will known. In Your presence we’re not the same! Forever altered. Transformed. Metamorphosed. Have Your way. We are yielded vessels submitted unto You, oh Lord. Change me, mold me, use me; I am surrendered. Simply trusting clay in the Potter’s hands. Have Your way.

It has been prayed over and anointed with the Scent of Heaven’s Glory Drops oil. The scriptures that go with this oil are:

  • And blessed be his glorious name for ever: and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen, and Amen. Psalm 72:19
  • And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: John 17:22

The history of this oil is that one day during church Carol (the founder of the Scent of Heaven) saw a vision of glory drops coming down on some of the people. She cried out to the Lord asking, “Why aren’t there more people being touched?” Some weeks later, the weatherman mentioned that there has to be a ‘drawing’ below for the rain to come out of the clouds. The Lord immediately impressed upon her that we, likewise, need to be hungry and thirsty to be pure and holy, seeking for His glory so we can receive the glory drops. When enough of us create a sufficient drawing, His glory will fill the whole earth.

The deeper meaning of this oil reads, “Glory Drops represents the essence of the Lord’s glory falling on those who have sought His holiness and drawn it out by hungering and thirsting for Him. Like in Luke 8:46 where the woman touched the hem of the Lord’s garment and He asked, “Who touched me?” – she drew the power out of Him.”

We pray it blesses you!
