Silk: Formed in Love

In addition to being an awesome silk with a beautiful word, the video of this flag has a fun story with it featuring Max (my dog) in my post In Your Presence 🙂

The name of your silk is Formed in Love. The colors in it are:

  • Pale yellow representing gentle touch and warmth
  • Maroon representing beloved
  • Coral representing going deep with God
  • Turquoise representing willingness to fight for you and Jealous God
  • Orange representing harvest season
  • Gray representing humility
  • Chartreuse representing hope
  • Dark gray representing crowned with humility and protection
  • Ruby representing being of immeasurable worth and belonging to the Lord
  • Gold shimmer representing the spark of first love and mercy

The scriptures that go with it are:

  • 1 Corinthians 3:11-15 (VOICE) There is, in fact, only one foundation, and no one can lay any foundation other than Jesus the Anointed. As others build on the foundation whether with gold, silver, gemstones, wood, hay, or straw, the quality of each person’s work will be revealed in time as it is tested by fire. If a man’s work stands the test of fire, he will be rewarded. If a man’s work is consumed by the fire, his reward will be lost but he will be spared, rescued from the fire.
  • Hebrews 11:6 (AMP) But without faith it is impossible to walk with God and please Him, for whoever comes near to God must necessarily believe that God exists and that He rewards those who earnestly and diligently seek Him.
  • Ephesians 3:17-19 (VOICE) …May love be the rich soil where their lives take root. May it be the bedrock where their lives are founded so that together with all of Your people they will have the power to understand that the love of the Anointed is infinitely long, wide, high, and deep, surpassing everything anyone previously experienced. God, may Your fullness flood through their entire beings.

{hearing} The mystery of Creation. The colors are a representation of many depths of God, I see many manifolds the colors represent. Many layers He’s communicating. Mysteries of God, depths of God. Deep is calling to deep. The heavens. The glory. The heavens declare His glory! Open heaven, prosperity, blessings, healing. Now!

A word called “I Will Pour Out My Blessings” from June Reinke of Prophetic Light is connected to this silk.

I will pour out My blessings upon you, says the LORD, for your faith in Me and your faithfulness pleases Me. I have taken notice of you and you have My attention. My Word is faithfulness. That is My commandment for you. All of heaven will back My command as I pour out uncontainable and unimpeachable blessings upon you who honor My Name and fulfill the desires of MY HEART. For as you have run after Me and obeyed My voice, I will give you the desires of your heart. You will not be without the things that you have asked Me for as you have fulfilled the things I have asked you for. As you have sought My will and kingdom and righteousness, all things will be given onto you without fail, says the LORD.

I Am your shield and exceeding, great reward, says the LORD. I will reward your work. I will reward your prayers and answer them. I will reward you openly who have labored in the secret place of intercession. Your work is not in vain, for I have recorded every Word, bottled every tear and everything that you have done for Me even in secret shall be rewarded openly and honorably, for you are honorable to Me. You have honored My great Name. You have honored My WORD. You have pursued that which is important to ME, and what you desire is granted. I have held out My scepter and received you to grant you the desires of your heart, and you will greatly rejoice in that which I speedily do for you, because you have run hard after Me, says the LORD.

The lyrics from Cory Asbury’s “Where I Belong” are connected to this silk.

Your presence is all I’m longing for here in the secret place
Your nearness is all I’m waiting for here in the quiet place, here in the secret place
My soul waits for you alone | Like the watchmen wait for dawn
Here I’ve finally found the place | Where we’ll meet, Lord, face to face
I’ve finally found where I belong, I’ve finally found where I belong, In Your presence
I’ve finally found where I belong, to be with You, to be with You
I am my Beloved’s and He is mine, so come into Your garden and take delight in me | Take delight in me
Delight in me, Delight in me, Delight in me, Delight in me
Here in Your presence, God, I find my rest | Here in Your presence, God.

Beloved, you are so precious to Me. You were formed out of love, My deep love for you brought you forth. You are of immeasurable value to Me. Pause for a moment and try to let this sink in: I love you beyond measure. Truly My love is so great that you will never see the end of it or fully know or understand it, yet I desire for you to understand how long, how wide, how deep, and how high My love really is and to experience it for yourself (Ephesians 3:17-19 TLB).

I KNOW you. I have known you from the beginning when I knitted you together. You are not a mystery to Me. I see you (I am El Roi, the God who sees) and further I understand you. Before you were born I knew every stumble you would make and yet I called you to Myself and have lavished you with My love because you are worth it to Me. I delight in you. Do not let shame or guilt keep you from seeking Me. I am not surprised by you and I will always extend My hand when you reach for Me because you are Mine.

I am a Jealous God. I do not want to share you with things that will steal your heart from Me, but I will always accept you back when you have wandered away. Nothing will cause Me to stop loving you for you are My very heartbeat. Allow My love to be your place of safety and security because it is steadfast. NOTHING can change it.

You are worth it all, worth fighting for – and make no mistake, I WILL fight for you. I will not let you wander from Me easily, I will hedge your way with thorns. I will not force you to be with Me, nor can I make you love or choose Me, but I will not let turning away come easily nor will I let the enemy of your soul lie, cheat, and steal his way into controlling your heart or your life. I. WILL. FIGHT.

You are My beloved one, the apple of My eye, the center of My world. I will never leave you for forsake you. Cling to Me precious one, as I cling to you, cherished delight of My heart.

The lyrics from Misty Edwards’s spontaneous song “I Knew What I Was Getting Into” are connected to this silk.

I knew what I was getting into when called you.
I knew what I was getting into when I said your name, but I said it just the same.
I knew what I was getting into and I still want you. I knew what I was getting into.

I knew what I was getting into and I still chose you.
I knew what I was getting into and I still want you.
I knew what I was getting into when I said your name, but I said it just the same.
I knew what I was getting into.

And I am not shocked by your weakness. And I am not shocked even by your sin.
And I am not shocked by your brokenness.

Cuz only I can see the end from the beginning. And only I can see where this is going.
And only I can see the end from the beginning. And I see in you the seeds of love.
And I see in you strength when all you see is your failure and all you feel is ashamed.
I can see deeper than that. I know you better than that.

I knew what I was getting into when called you.
I knew what I was getting into when I said your name. I said it just the same.
I knew what getting into and I still want you. I knew what I was getting into and I still like you.

Your only at the beginning. You’ve only just begun and I know where you are going
And all you can see in the moment is that your hurting. And all you can see in the moment is that your aching.

Just don’t give up. And don’t give in. If you don’t quit. You win, you win.

Everything is in my hands. It’s going to be alright. Everything is in my hands. It’s going to be alright.
It’s going to be okay. Everything is in my hands. It’s going to be alright. It’s going to be Okay.
And you don’t have to pretend to be something or someone your not.
Cuz I know you better than that, even better, even better than that. Listen my Beloved.

I knew what I was getting into when I called you.
I knew what I was getting into when I said your name. I said it just the same.
I knew what I was getting into and I still like you. I knew what I was getting into and I still chose you.

A portion of a blog from Chaim Bentorah called “Word Study – His Passionate Love” is connected to this silk.

In the Hebrew, Psalms 138:8 “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me,” in the Hebrew literally says: “The Lord will {bring to an end or to completion} that which is about me.” This is a picture of coming full circle. It has the idea of starting something and finishing it. The word for bringing to an end or to a completion or as my translation renders perfect is the word gamar. Rabbi Samson Hirsch the 19th Century Hebrew scholar and linguist suggest that this could be a play on the word kamar which means to kindle a fire of passion or love. In other words: “The Lord will kindle a fire of passionate love for me” as He puts me through this process of perfecting me.

There are various ways we can look at this. We can look at it from the beginning of our life to the end of our lives, God will fulfill the purpose for which He has created us. But we can also look at it from the idea that during our lives God starts a work or many different works in our lives all which are meant to kindle a passionate love. All the works that God starts in our lives will be brought to a completion ending with His passionate love. God finishes everything that He starts, there are no abandoned projects.

Sometimes God can start a work in the middle of your life or even in the latter years of your life. Examples are Joshua taking over the leadership of the children of Israel at 71 years of age, Abraham becoming a father at 90 years of age. This work may begin with a tragedy, the loss of a job or a health crisis. But always remember it is built on the passionate love of God and when you look back over that tragedy or crisis after having come full circle you will see God’s passionate love and you could say like Dickens that it has been the best of times and the worst of times. Every disappointment and every crisis is contrasted to God’s faithfulness and lovingkindness. Yet, you can be assured that one day you will come full circle and be able to praise God in every situation as He embraces you with His passionate love.-

One thing that Psalms 138:8 seems to make very clear is God is the author of our life’s story…

It has been prayed over and anointed with the Scent of Heaven’s Showers of Blessings, which is used in representation of the scriptural promise of God’s blessings, a prophetic declaration that we are heirs to His promise of showers of blessing. The scripture that goes with this oil is Ezekiel 34:26, “And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.”

We pray it blesses you!

NOTE: If you’re wondering why I’ve shared this silk letter, check out my post God Speaking Through Silk where I explain why I began sharing these on my blog.

Below is the second time I dyed this silk – this is what I was “seeing” when this silk was birthed. Amazing how it is so different from the original flag (above). Each is beautiful in its own way.
