This morning I asked You, Lord, if You had a verse for me to pray over the Haiti trip (Allen leaves this afternoon… it’s his first mission trip). I sensed You gave me Joel 3:13. Without knowing what that was I looked it up…
Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
So yes Lord! I thank You that Allen, John, and Mary are going to bring in Your harvest. I pray that NOT ONE would would be missed!
Lord, prepare the hearts of those they will encounter during this trip and I ask that Your Holy Spirit hover over those who will be touched, and over the whole area… break the strongholds so that the word of the Lord may be heard and received!
I ask for divine appointments and for You to show up and show off Lord! May this region be THICK with Your presence.
Give the team wisdom, Lord… show them who and when and how and what… I pray they would have increased sensitivity to Your voice and that they would all be in harmony with You and with each other. Lord, I pray Your plan is established!
I pray for Your heavenly hosts Lord to come and minister and protect and do battle Lord… let it be according to Your will!
Bring them in Lord… let’s bring them all in…
Lord, I pray for each person who will receive a scarf – bless them! And Lord, show the team who is to have them… highlight them and bring it to their remembrance.
Lord I pray the team basks in Your peace throughout the trip… God bless them, protect them, move through them… may Your plan be established.
