My name is Meghan Williams, formerly Meghan Lee Otto (I don’t go by Meg).

If I were to sum up the goal/purpose of my life into one simple phrase it would be: to know the Lord and make Him known. I see God’s fingerprints all over my life (and the lives of others!).

Personal

I have a wonderful husband, Allen. We were married on 23 November 2001, and God has written an amazing testimony in our life and in our marriage. Even how we got our dog is a beautiful testimony to the fact God answers prayer. (Find out more about God.)

Ministry

In the summer of 2006, God had me start dyeing scarves – and in October 2006, Dyed4you was born. I am still humbled and overwhelmed by some of the amazing testimonies (which I call scarf stories) that I get to hear about what God is doing with these little creations!

Then in Fall of 2009, God birthed Dyed4you Art, an off-shoot of Dyed4you. It is prophetic art that incorporates prophetic Dyed4you scarves in each of its images. Both the scarves and the images have meanings… visit the gallery to see what the Lord has birthed in this new area of ministry.

A year later, the Lord said it was time to formalize Dyed4you as a ministry – and thus Dyed4you Ministries was birthed. We have since become part of the MorningStar Fellowship of Ministries and in the summer of 2011, the Lord released me to begin doing freelance photography again as well, and Dyed4you Photo was born.  There are (of course) MANY pictures on this site for you to look at too

Church

We attended a wonderful church called Destiny where we were blessed to be part of the leadership team from the Fall of 2005 to Spring 2011, and our friends there became like family.

In Spring 2011, the Lord moved us from Destiny Church to Passion for Truth Fellowship. We’ve loved getting plugged in and learning more about our Hebraic roots. And of course I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to use my Dyed4you silks in worship and watching others using them too. Here’s a clip from worship one weekend.

A verse that has been stretching me recently is Ephesians 5:20 AMP:

At all times and for everything giving thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father.

How many times are we supposed to give thanks? All. And for how many things? Everything. Wow. That’s a tall order! I don’t know about you, but historically when someone hurts me it’s not been my first thought to give thanks for that… yet that’s what this scripture is telling us to do. So someone is mean to us… we give thanks? Yep. Can’t pay the bills… we give thanks? That’s right! » more »

Numbers 11:1: “Now when the people complained, it displeased the Lord; for the Lord heard it…” For starters. I don’t want to displease the Lord. So I paused right here and was reminded of Philippians 2:14, “Do  everything without complaining or arguing.”
